Poderi Boscarelli is one of Montepulciano’s top estates, owned by the Marchesi de Ferrari Corradi and located in the area of Cervognano, south-east of Montepulciano. The soil composition here is mainly sedimentary with a mix of sand and clay, which gives the wines great elegance. The production includes a standard Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as a cru Vino Nobile del Nocio, and a 100% Sangiovese barrique-aged supertuscan Boscarelli.  The philosophy of the estate is to make stylish wines based on classic elegance, structure and good ageing capacity, yet approachable when young. The estate is family run, managed by Paola Corradi and her two sons Nicolò and his brother Luca de Ferrari.

Useful information: Open for visits and tastings by appointment only Monday to Friday, 15.00-18.00 and at weekends on request, other times best to call. Fixed charge of €7 for the tasting (if you buy a bottle there is no charge). English and French spoken.
