Wine shops & Bars

The area in the old town of Logroņo, near the market, in and around Laurel and San Juan streets is a fun place to go and has become a popular venue for couples from all over Spain to celebrate hen and bachelor parties; do not be surprised if you run into groups of people dressed in disguises having fun! The best times to enjoy a tapas crawl are Thursday night (when university students are out), Friday night, and Saturday and Sunday before lunch and dinner. Local favourites are El Soldado de Tudelilla (San Agustín 33), Pata Negra (Laurel 24), El Soriano (Travesía del Laurel 2), Juan y Pínchame (Laurel 9), Sebas (Albornoz 7) and Bar San Juan (San Juan 5). There are over 50 bars in the area, so be adventurous – go inside those that catch your fancy and point to what you want!
