Logroņo hosts a big party from 20 to 26 September each year. Outdoor concerts, bullfights, the pressing and blessing of the first grape juice from the harvest, arts and crafts exhibitions, and vibrant street life are all part of the festival. Riojans enjoy strolling around town at any time of the year, and during the festival the streets are lively day and night!
This festival takes place in a different village of Rioja Alavesa each year on the second Sunday in September. The first juice from the harvest is blessed in the town square and wineries set up stands around the village, offering samples to visitors.
