Listed as an historical monument since 2003, this is a striking chartreuse, built in the neoclassical style in 1772, and has an octagonal 17th century pigeon house, a lovely garden and parkland, and is open for picnics and visits. Besides making an interesting day out, this is also a chambres d’hôtes (see ’Places to Eat’), and wine-producing château.

Useful information: Free visits, from Easter to 1 November, open every day 14.00-19.00.
