Russell has been in the wine trade since 1968 working in England, Germany, France, and Hungary. A half-Master of Wine (Tasting), he collaborated for five years as wine consultant for Richard Olney on the Time-Life Good Cook series. He has lived and worked in Burgundy since 1985 and is married to Becky Wasserman of Le Serbet (www.leserbet.com) exporting domaine wines to England and the USA. He often leads tastings and arranges vineyard tours for trade clients. Pursuits include cooking and reading cookery books.
