Since opening in 1920, the Lameloise restaurant has been counted amongst the best in Burgundy, and in 2007 it regained its third Michelin star and is still the only three star in the Burgundy wine region. The kitchen is now in the capable hands of Eric Pras and Frédéric Lamy and this fine restaurant should not be missed if your budget allows it. The wine list, mainly focused on Burgundy, is classic, and all the grandest domaines are featured. There are 16 comfortable rooms in the hotel (see 'places to stay'). Opposite is their new bistro, Pierre et Jean (tel: 03 85 87 08 67; web: offering simpler, good food with menus €28 - €34.
